Really mixing it up with these blog names, right?
My mom and I laugh about this as we both feel significantly more comfortable on the other side of the camera. We know we are our own hardest critics but DAMN. Modeling is hard! Directing a model or an even and entire photoshoot feels like teaching a yoga class. Yoga has helped me to verbalize body cues in a way I never could before. Hip rotation, breath, projection... it's like helping someone through a dance to find the outcome you both desire; a beautiful photo.
Jan and I are still working on this as we usually crack up laughing when the other starts giving cues. But we'll get there get there. With our tattooed models gone, it's our only choice.
